Pastor Clayborn's Message
MAY GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU!
BEGIN EACH DAY WITH GOD!
Holy Greetings to you in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  2011 was a year of praise,
adoration and jubilant celebration of our God and each other.  We hope 2012 will be very profitable and
safe for you and your loved ones.

Now that we have closed out 2011 and look forward to the New Year (2012), I would like to take this
opportunity to thank each of you for your many contributions over the last twelve months.

As we stand at the beginning of this year, we need to recognize that is offers unnumbered opportunities for
wonderful victories-situations that will allow us to grow spiritually and ways to develop new skills and
make new friends that can lead to the glory of Christ and His kingdom.

God has proclaimed this year to be a year of peace, power and prosperity.  This is God's plan for all who
would believe.  To understand and accept His plan, we must study God's word, seek His will, learn His
ways, and walk in obedience, then we can experience a peaceful, powerful and prosperous year.  God has
showered us with an abundance of blessings, spiritually , financially and corporately.  From the pulpit to
the door God has truly smiled on us.

Taking a look at the coming year is comparable to examining a road map.  As we face Highway 2012, we
stand in need of guidance.  Not only do we need guidance as we face the New Year, but we also need to
recognize and respond to our spiritual resources.  Some things in life are optional while others things
are essential.

We stand at the gate of a New Year and see the road may ahead.  We cannot see far, and without God's
wisdom we will not see with understanding.  At best, we expect to experience, beyond our present limited
horizon, some complex and confusing turns in the road that will test our highest knowledge and deepest
commitment.

There will be hills to climb and bumpy sections to cross.  How will we fare?  Do we have any assurance
that we can safely and successfully make it?  PROVERBS 3:5-6 says we can make it and victoriously if
we will trust God's guidance.  "TRUST IN THE LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own
understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy Paths."  This is an excellent
watchword for the year, a battle cry for the testing times, a comfort and strength for our uncertainty.  It is
a sufficient substitute for a road map.  Even though eyes cannot discern the turns, the stops, the difficulties
or the pleasures ahead.

Each of you play a significant role in the success of our CHURCH.  My challenge to you in 2012 is as
always to strive for excellence and believe and achieve ultimate success as a group.  We must strive to be
all that we can be for the glory of our God.

I thank God for allowing me the privilege of working with each of you.  I am excited about the challenges
of the future and grateful for your dedication.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!
